An Orange what?
I have been trying to make the boys some fun snacks this summer since I have a little more time than I do during the school year. They love hearing about me being 'a little kid', so I decided to cook them up an Orange Julius---a drink that I used to LOVE! It always reminded me of my best friend Julie. We actually would get them together when our moms would drive us to the big city of Davenport to go shopping at that amazing mall! They thought these drinks were fantastic and they didn't last long. In fact, I didn't get much of mine at all!

Wonderscope!
The boys invited Daddy's cousin Emma to hang out with them at a really fun children's museum, wonderscope. They had a BLAST!!! What a super fun day! Emma (who I didn't get in the pics! Duh!) took really good care of them and was a great set of extra hands with these troublemakers!

S'MORES!!
The boys had some fun throwing things into my grocery cart while I as trying to talk to a contractor on the phone. These are one of the things I discovered after my phone call...the hugest marshmallows EVER! I decided to let them keep them and we stuffed them full of chocolate and graham crackers to make inside out s'mores! Wowza!

Messy marvin and his apprentice
C loves to make a mess. And I mean a mess. He loves to take every toy he owns and then hideout with them. This is kind of hard on an ocd mommy that likes a clean house. The other day when I caught him, I just couldn't get upset. Check out why...

Ahhhh....Summer!
Daddy had some shopping to do earlier this week. It just so happened that shopping was near a new gelato place that my friend Emily had been talking about. Sooooo, I found away to invite us all along on the trip and check out the gelato afterwards. It was a very cute new shopping area with a really cool fountain to stomp in. B exclaimed 'this is the best day EVER!'. Well, if that is all it took! He also found this cute chairs to relax in after he ran around! 6 year olds get tired, ya know!!

We are heading to a picnic with some friends from church in just a few minutes. Here are some of the treats we are brining. B learned all about 'America's birthday' at school this year, so he is pretty excited to celebrate this year. A had an especially good time helping with the treats. However, none of his finished products actually made it into the sandpails. I wonder why??~~

4th of July 2007!
As I was updating pics for this year, I came across the priceless pic from July 4th, 2007. Look at this little guy. He doesn't even have all of his teeth. And just yesterday, he lost his 2nd tooth. Jeez louezz times travels fast!

C...always thinking
The big boys have been dreaming of going to see Cars 2 for a long time. Mommy is a little too nervous to take all 3 alone without the Daddy back up plan, so I keep telling them that we will go as soon as Daddy has a little more time. They other day C exclaimed, "Mommy....can Flopsy and Charlie (stuffed friends) watch A so we can go to Cars 2, puuuuuuhhhhhlease?????? What do you think mommy, huh????' Oh boy. That little boy and his big ideas. Today we finally got to go. Even A got to go. We tried Fork and Screen and it was SO awesome! The little waitress brought us our food, our popcorn, our cupcakes, our heart's delight! She did so much for us, that I even thought she might get A from us when he got restless. Not so much! I so badly wanted to have a glass of wine, but it was only 11:30am. If my Daddy were with us, we would have told me to go for it! It's always 5 o'clock somewhere! Here is the only picture I could muster. A is enjoying his first movie! Well, until about half way through when we had to escape the bathroom for a bit. He promptly put his hands in the toilet and then escaped while I was going potty. I had to run after him before I quite had myself together. Good times!
