Christmas 2014

Christmas 2014 was full of great memories! We made LOTS of goodies including reindeer floats for the neighbors, homemade peanut butter, homemade gingersnap cookie butter, coconut macroons, peanut clusters, and melted snowman popcorn. We made did some crafting and made peppermint ornaments. We went to crown center to see Rudolph the Musical, took our annual trip to Iowa and made a special trip to Hickory Park on the way home. We enjoyed some ice skating with cousins and some of Daddy's donuts. And we made some 2015 resolutions!

Winter Festivities

Some random photos from Winter 2014. B was Copernicus in his 4th grade program. A had strep throat and broncitis. We saw Santa a few times. We decorated for Christmas. And we saw ISU play at the Sprint Center!

Mr. C's #8

C wanted an Iowa State Cyclone Basketball party for his 8th birthday and we were glad to pull that off. He had a fabulous cake made my Ms. Stasi. We also served a glass of cheeseballs that looked like basketballs, and orange gatorades topped with whistles. He had about 20 buddies come to a swimming party to celebrate!

Halloween 2014

Halloween was a super fun night. We had mummy pizza for dinner followed by some trick or treating with the neighbors. A was a ninja turtle, B was Eric Hosmer from the Royals and C was Bill Butler from the Royal!

Fall Fun!

We had a lot of fun this fall. We made caramel apples, lots of pumpkins, and a few fun snacks for a church Halloween Party!

Go Royals!

Our hometown team had an awesome season! They went all the way to the World Series and our family was able to join the fun! Matt and the big boys went to an ALCS game and I went to a World Series game. KC was so excited. They dyed the fountains blue and road side stands were everywhere selling tshirts and other gear! They lost in a very close game 7, but it was still totally awesome to enjoy the games!

A is 5!

Austen turned 5 in September. He wanted a Packer themed party, so we went all out. We made Lacy's Lemonade, Driver's Dip, and Matthew's Munchies. We even borrowed Grandpa's cheesehead for the big day. We had lots of friends over and had a blast celebrating our little guy.
