Dunkin' Donuts!

I surprised the boys with a fun trip to Dunkin' Donuts NYE morning...in their PJs. B wasn't so sure he should let people see his PJs, but he came around! It was a fun treat and yummy donuts!

Winter Break Fun!

We took advantage of our winter break to take a little trip to Union Station and Science City. We had a blast. We saw lots of cool exhibits at Science City followed by a cool show at the planetarium. We finished up the day with a great lunch at Fritz's in Crown Center. Fun day!!!

Christmas 2012

Here are a few shots from our KC Christmas. We all went out ot dinner at Granite City. While we were gone, Santa showed up! The boys got lots of fun toys...Skylanders Giants, movies, a talking Yoda (A was terrified of him at first, but he came around the next day) and even an ipad! We were glad that we did set out cookies for him before we left. The next day we packed for Grandma's. We finally got to put the clothespin on #1...meaning our trip was finally here. The boys were entertained in the car for a bit with some of the fun suckers Santa left in the stockings!

Thanksgiving

We were lucky to have Aunt JoJo and family here for Thanksgiving this year. We had a blast shopping, fishing, eating, and hanging out. We made a thankful tree and cornucopia ice cream cones filled with m & m's. We ended our thanksgiving night with a trip to see the plaza lights! Fun! Fun!

Christmas crafts

The boys and I have been busy, busy! We have made lots of crafts for friends, teachers, and family!! We made hand scrub for friends. We also made stovetop potpourri. We made peppermint play dough and chocolate syrup for our friends with kiddos. Teachers got red velvet cakes in a jar. Grandparents are getting photo ornaments. We had lots of fun delivering everything to our neighbors last week!

Snow Day! Finally!

We waited two years for this day, but we finally got it! Whoohoo for a snow day! The boys were so stinkin' excited, even if it did mean a cancelled Christmas party at school!
