Parade!

While B was marching in the parade with Daddy, the little boys joined the Rodden family in gathering up TONS of candy. It was a rainy morning, but nobody seemed to mind!

The newest Boy Scout!

We weren't sure if we wanted to add yet another activity to our already crazy busy lives, but when B 'told' us he had a meeting and wouldn't be able to watch the football game with us, we decided we better let him try it out. He LOVES it! He looks so darn cute in this little uniform! His first job was marching in the parade this morning!

A is 2!

A has been 'acting' two for a LONG time! It was finally time to celebrate the big day. We invited just a few families over to celebrate Dr. Seuss style. We had green eggs and ham, red fish/blue fish, Noodle-ish salad, big blue buffalo dip, chippity dippity dip, pink yink drink, and whoville beergaritas for the grownups. The cupcakes were decorated to look like thing 1 and thing 2. And the kiddos got to take home 'hop on pop' tootise pops and 'red fish'. It was a blast and baby A had a great time!

First Day of School 2011

It was a big day this past Wednesday. B started his first of first grade. He was so very excited! He had a great day and seems to be adjusting well! Mommy is absolutely exhausted from her first week of school, but enjoying the weekend time with the baby boys! A was a little more leary about his first day (actually he was more upset about his mommy not letting him run in the street), but I am assured that he did just fine after mommy left him at school. C has good days and not so good days. They seem to be directly related to the presence of his best buddy Martin!

Maybe a cupcake will help?

Today is the last day of summer vacation. We have had a GREAT summer, but now it is time to get back to work. We decided to treat ourselves to some cupcakes to deal with the sadness of seeing the summer end. They were DELICIOUS!

The boys first sleep over!

C has been begging to have his buddy, M, stay over. So we finally did it. The boys had a blast! We had make your own pizzas and s'more shakes for dinner. The boys watched lots of movies, played superheroes, and did lots of giggling!
