T-Ball Summer 2010
B is trying out Tball once again this summer. While many games he can be found drawing designs in the sand or chasing girls in the dugout, this last game he was AMAZING!! He hustled, hit the ball, and chased every ball that came his way! We were so proud!! And his Grandma George was here to see it all! What a great night! B was in charge of snacks at this game and this is what we came up with! So much fun!
Father's Day!
It's Father's Day! We are so lucky to have one heckuva Dad at our house! We had a great day starting with Mass at our new Church, followed by 'bug juice' at the gas station. When the boys are good at Church, they are rewareded with this special treat. We rushed home to make these 'grilled hotdog' cupcakes for Daddy. B was so excited! He kept telling Daddy that he had to stay out of the kitchen while we baked--not a problem for Matt at all! And C just couldn't keep the secret--he told Daddy that we were making hotdog cupcakes for a surprise! Our little bakers could not WAIT to get a hold of some of that chocolate frosting! Yummy!

Painted Faces
Daddy was so sweet to splurge on fancy face paintings for the boys. I think he was just glad they were interested in something at the Hot Air Balloon Festival because we sure couldn't get them to be patient waiting for the balloons to launch! C, our little superhero couldn't have been happier to actually become 'spiderman' for a night! And B was just as excited to be a tiger--roar! And sweet little A--your face painting days will be here soon enough! For now, I am going to keep kissing those sweet little innocent cheeks of yours!

B's 5th Birthday
The B man is officially 5. He has been waiting for this day for a very long time. Me, too! B's bday is always our opening event to summer time--a season I have been desperate for the last few months! We celebrated the big day many times. First with our good Kansas friends and a superhero themed party. The highlight of the party was the very cool Buzz Lightyear that the master gift giver Ms. Emily brought. And of course the amazing cake that Ms. Ashlee made for us. Shortly after his big day, B reported that now that he is 5 he isn't going to suck his thumb, eat his boogers, or any other bad things! Wow! That sounds amazing sweetheart! B was able to celebrate his big day with his daycare friends, preK friends, and at Red Robin! Wow--he is one lucky kid!
