Fall Fun!

We had a lot of fun this fall. We made caramel apples, lots of pumpkins, and a few fun snacks for a church Halloween Party!

Go Royals!

Our hometown team had an awesome season! They went all the way to the World Series and our family was able to join the fun! Matt and the big boys went to an ALCS game and I went to a World Series game. KC was so excited. They dyed the fountains blue and road side stands were everywhere selling tshirts and other gear! They lost in a very close game 7, but it was still totally awesome to enjoy the games!

A is 5!

Austen turned 5 in September. He wanted a Packer themed party, so we went all out. We made Lacy's Lemonade, Driver's Dip, and Matthew's Munchies. We even borrowed Grandpa's cheesehead for the big day. We had lots of friends over and had a blast celebrating our little guy.

Iowa 2014

We just got back from a week long trip to Iowa. We started the trip to Okoboji for some camping with the family. We found a little brewery that a friend from college just started. It was awesome. We had lots of campfires, swimming, food, and a really fun trip to Arnold's Park. After Okoboji, we headed to Aunt JoJo's for some fun with the baby chicks, a fun shopping trip with Grandma, and some awesome food at the Mississippi Mile House!

Summer 2014

The days have been pretty endless around here. There have been lots of crafts, lots of time at the pool, lots of snacks, trip to skyzone, Deanna Rose, and Peach Wave, and lots and lots of errands!

4th of July

We had a relaxing 4th of July weekend. We made all sorts of patriotic snacks. We started the day at a really fun festival followed by lunch at the New York Dawg Pound. I don't think you get more American than hot dogs on the 4th! In the afternoon, we headed to our neighbor's for a fancy Paella feast. It was AMAZING!!!
