The George boys had a great time over Christmas break. They enjoyed their neck pillows for Grandma! We did lots of building with magnets and drank lots of hot chocolate. We also painted some ceramics and had a McD's lunch with good friends. My oven has been fixed and the baking has resume! Up first...biscotti and muffins!

Christmas 2013
The George boys had so much fun getting ready for Christmas this year. Elfinator showed up and played some funny tricks. We made lots of treats for teachers, friends, and neighbors. We made peppermint puppy chow, homemade lotion bars, snowman jars, peanut clusters, chocolate dipped pretzels, and caramel dip. Santa made an appearance and Elfinator dropped off some snowman donuts. We made our big trip to Iowa and had a blast with our cousins!
C is 7!
C was so excited to turn 7! He wanted a karate party, so he invited all of his buddies to the studio for some board breaking fun. He is very much into Pokémon these days, so that was the theme. We had red/white cupcakes (color of Pokémon balls), and Pokey ball sixlets, Pokémon cards as treats! He got to bring home Curious George for the weekend and we took the boy to Red Robin for dinner!
A's Little Christmas Program
A did a great job singing in his program at school this year. It is the first year he hasn't run off the stage! He had a great time and was so sweet!

Thanksgiving 2013
We were so glad to have Gma and Gpa H and the Jansen clan join us for Thanksgiving yet again. It was a busy week of eating, shopping, game playing and just having fun. Sadly, the Saturday night before started with an oven fire and a destroyed oven! We were so glad to have good friends let us borrow their roasters that helped us save Thanksgiving! Aunt JoJo arranged a turkey trot for us 1st thing Thanksgiving morning. All of the boys did awesome! B and C shared the wishbone and had a near perfect split. Cousin Jenna led the boys on LOTS of crafts. We all enjoyed an awesome light show at the Overland Park arboretum and we had so much fun at our dinner at the Japanese steak house. My favorite part is the fun Indian and pilgrim hats the boys make at school!
C's 1st grade program
C had a few lines in his 1st grade music program. He nailed them and got quite a few laughs from the crowd! He had a hard time deciding just which bug he wanted to be, but finally decided upon a horsefly!
Halloween 2013
We had lots of events to celebrate Halloween this fall. There was LOTS of pumpkin decorating, a chili cook off, a pumpkin carving party, a karate party, a pumpkin patch adventure, and of course the big day of trick or treating with my ninja, darth vader, and transformer!
