All Star Celebrity and Futures Game

I got a treat from my good friend Emily. She invited me to go along with her to this awesome event when her husband couldn't make it. We had rock star seats and had a blast watching the celebs and enjoying some baseball! We saw Wil Myers, an up and coming star for the Royals in the futures game. We saw Jennie Finch, David Cook, Eric Stonestreet, Bill Self, Matt Cassel, Andre Dawson, Rick Sutcliffe, Rollie Fingers, Chord Overstreet and lots of other celebs and legends at the All Star Celebrity and Legends game. SO MUCH FUN!!

Mommy and Daddy's Night Out!

It's not very often that Mommy and Daddy get to go out with out the boys, but we were very lucky that Gma and Gpa George were in town to watch them while we snuck out to a little concert...

4th of July

It was steamin' hot this year for the 4th of July, but we decided to just suffer through it! The boys and I went swimming in the morning and then headed home to make some snacks for our picnic.

We made our famous white chocolate popcorn, lemonade cupcakes, and some awesome star jell-o jigglers that didn't survive the heat.

 We entered in the annual bike parade!

 

Afterwards, we headed to fireworks. We forgot to take pics, but the boys loved them this year and not a single one needed to sit on my lap for protection!;-(

All Star Game 2012

The All Star Game is in Kansas City this year. We are so lucky to be able to attend some of the fun events associated with it. We headed down to Bartle Hall for the Fan Fest right by Daddy's office on Saturday. We got to see his office and park in his special spot. We then headed to the event and were greeted by these awesome blue fountains.

We enjoyed some classic Kansas City custard from Sheridan's in a Royals cap.

We got our pictures taken with 'George Brett', one of the most famous Royals of all. We like to think we are kind of related to him!

 This is the trophy for the HomeRun Derby champion.

 Here is a very cool $5000 chair we could have bought!

The boys did some really cool games. B had a great throw.

Even A gave it a try!

C didn't have so much luck!

 But he still won a free taco!

 Here is a replica of the World Series trophy. The line to see the real one was REALLY long!

 And one last trip to the fountains!

Kid Camp

While B was off at scout day camp, the little boys were sad and wanted to have their own camp. I put together a few events for them....

 B has lost THREE teeth this summer!
