Home Sweet Home! It's snack time!

We had a great trip, but nothing beats being back home. The boys have lounged all day long, except for a trip to the kitchen for today's snack. I didn't get any good pics of C's banana pop, b/c it was gone faster than I could get my camera out, however I was able to get a snapshot of the 'after' effects of Magic Shell chocolate syrup! Yummy!

Happy Campers!

We definitely had some happy campers! The boys LOVED it. Mommy and Daddy had a few more struggles with the chasing, bugs, and humidity! We both agreed that if the boys had fun, it was totally worth it!

All of the boys, including cousin Carter LOVED going to the beach. Daddy probably wishes I had cropped this pic a little!

ARNOLD's PARK! This is the highlight of the trip for the boys. Even baby A got to enjoy the fun this year. The smile on his face was priceless!

B got to try some jumping on this. What a perfect ride for Mr. Jumpy himself!:) I had to laugh when I overheard one of Matt's aunts asking 'now which one is B? Is that the jumpy one'! Yep, that's my tigger!

Next Stop...Alligator (Elkader), Iowa!

 We love this river! The Mighty Missisippi! Mommy grew up right next to it and loves to teach the boys all about it. Man...I miss home!

 Grandma and Grandpa H! What a handsome couple they are!

We enjoyed some AWESOME brats in McGregor. It was a perfect night. I didn't get any pictures of our fun at the Jansens, but the boys LOVE going to their house. They have a pond, 2 awesome dogs, excellent food, lots of crops (pumpkins, rasperries, tomatoes) and that super fun gator!

At last, At last! Vacation is HERE!

 A is enjoying his very first SLURPEE from Quick Trip on the long drive!

 B finally found that four leaf clover that he has been searching for all summer! He made a wish and the clover fairly 'magically' brought him some Zhu Zhu pet toys for him and his little buddies. Hope that magic fairy travels to KC every time he makes a wish on something!

 We went shopping at THE Kennedy mall and tried on some cool glasses!

And C was NOT tired after playing with his beloved cousin CC, but this little scene would prove otherwise!

An Orange what?

I have been trying to make the boys some fun snacks this summer since I have a little more time than I do during the school year. They love hearing about me being 'a little kid', so I decided to cook them up an Orange Julius---a drink that I used to LOVE! It always reminded me of my best friend Julie. We actually would get them together when our moms would drive us to the big city of Davenport to go shopping at that amazing mall! They thought these drinks were fantastic and they didn't last long. In fact, I didn't get much of mine at all!

Wonderscope!

The boys invited Daddy's cousin Emma to hang out with them at a really fun children's museum, wonderscope. They had a BLAST!!! What a super fun day! Emma (who I didn't get in the pics! Duh!) took really good care of them and was a great set of extra hands with these troublemakers!

DIRT cups!

B loves science! Oh and he loves his snack! So we decided to bring science and snack together! Yummy dirt cups!!
