Pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins!

The boys were so proud of their many pumpkins. B entered his school contest and won first place! He was very excited and we were very proud! C got his pumpkin on his school field trip. He couldn't stop talking about it! And A didn't really care about his pumpkin, or posing with it for that matter!

Halloween Week!

The boys adore Halloween, even more than Christmas, I think! It seems like the fun never ends. We started Halloween week with a Halloween party at Church. We also carved pumpkins and ate pumpkin pancakes for dinner! Matt was so sweet to carve the boys giant pumpkins. Here are some pics of our fun!

Pumpkin Patch!

We took Grandma and Grandpa back to Deanna Rose! This time we enjoyed the awesome fall weather and pumpkins! The big boys rode horses--they were so brave! It was a PERFECT day!!

Mommy--why don't we have any girls?

Calen has been a little obsessed with this God thing lately. He says, Mommy--did God make computers? Did God make colors? Did God make cookies? And why didn't God give us any girls? Hmmm, not sure how to answer that one!

The United State of Comerica and Awww Man!

B is learning the Pledge of Allegiance in kindergarted. We are SOOO impressed. He knows every word! It is really cute, though, because he doesn't say the words correctly. He says, "I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of Comerica". We have tried correct him, but he won't have any part of that. At school, they follow up the pledge with their school character statement, so he thinks the last sentence of the pledge is 'we will now say the PCES character pledge'!;-) He tells me that he doesn't have that memorized quite yet!

C is also learning all kinds of bible songs in preschool. He says 'God the Father, once again we thank you. Awww Man!!'. What a pumpkin!

Go Clones Go!

We took B and C to their very first cyclone game at Arrowhead stadium. They were so excited! Uncle Nathan came along, which was even more exciting! We were so proud of our little fans cheering for the cyclones throughout the game. Although I think we need to get back to Iowa more often b/c after the game B told someone he had fun rooting for the Jayhawks. YIKES!!!

B is a school boy!

The day is FINALLY here! B is officially a kindergartner. Momma was a little more teary eyed than expected. B didn't quite get why I was so insistent on this picture! C also had his first day at preK. When did these little turkeys get so big!
