Zoo

We took one last summer adventure to the Kansas City Zoo. It was a great day and A got to see his favorite animals and take pictures of them!

Iowa 2K15

We made our annual trip to Iowa at the end of July. Daddy biked RAGBRAI a few days and the boys and I headed to Gma's. The air went out in our van just before heading on the trip, so we had to live without it. We found some fun fans and we were on our way! After DBQ, we met Daddy and headed to camp in Okoboji! We enjoyed some morning runs and bike rides, celebrated Daddy's birthday, and enjoyed the parade with cousins!

Summer Sun

We have had a blast this summer. From visiting new coffee shops, learning to geocache, bike rids, drive in movies, science experiments, volunteering at the Children's hospital, picking berries, and just trying to be a gangster, we have kept ourselves plenty busy!

Baseball, baseball, and more baseball!

There was plenty of baseball this summer! B played kid pitch and even took his turn on the mound. Daddy was the coach and the boys did an awesome job! C played machine pitch and was a star batter. He consistently hit the ball and was an incredible hustler. A played tball. He struggled a bit following rules and staying out of the dirt...but had a great time being a Riverdog! He was a trooper watching his brothers play night after night!

4th of July

This year we spent the 4th of July in KC. We went to the KC Royals game on July 3rd with our neighbors. They are big Twins fans! The Royals beat the Twins and we stayed for fireworks afterwards. We had incredible seats. On the 4th, we made red, white, and blue crepes. I also made my famous red, white, and blue popcorn. After lunch, we checked out the new Scheel's and bought Daddy some bike clothes. Then we had chili dogs at Sonic and headed to picnic with friends from POP. We ended the night with some fireworks watching at our neighbors!
