B turns 8!

B celebrated his {8th} bday at his dojo (karate studio). He had so much fun!

The cupcakes were protein packed with peanut butter. The water bottles were wrapped with various colors of construction paper, representing belt colors. The napkins were striped like belt colors, too.

All of the kids took home 'puppy chop' mix as their gift bag.

They snacked on licorice, representing red belts...the highest ranking.

The birthday boy enjoying his bash.

Friends eating all of the goodies!

On his actual bday, we went to Dairy Queen and he enjoyed whatever he wished! Today it was a blizzard in a waffle cone...just like on the picture!

And our birthday tradition...a picture by the balloon wreath!

C's Kindergarten Graduation

C graduated from the big ol' kindergarten last month. He was so proud! He earned teh 'great math student' award for his expert knowledge on negative numbers. He, of course, went to graduation in a sling because he sprained his elbow the week before...one week after receiving 5 staples in his head. Silly, crazy boy!

Easter 2013

It was a very cold Easter. The first Easter Egg Hunt that we did was FREEZING. The second Easter Egg Hunt that he did was cancelled the first time because we got 6 inches of SNOW!! Crazy. It warmed up long enough to go outside to dye those darn eggs. Of course, we take every excuse that we can to be shirtless! BOYS!

Scout Sunday at the Royals.

B solds lots of popcorn this year and he earned a ticket to see the Royals on Scout Sunday. We all had a lot of fun watching our favorite boys in blue play their game! I think the highlight was running the bases on the field after the game!

Karate

The big boys started karate this past winter. They are having so much fun. They think they are little ninjas. Pretty cute!
They earn stripes. When they get 3 stripes, they get to belt test.

They have earned yellow and orange belts so far!

B's 1st communion

We celebrated B's first communion this April. We were so proud of our little man and he did a great job! Isn't he handsome?

New York! New York!

I was so very lucky to head to New York, NY with my momma and sister for Spring Break. It is the first time I have ever left my sweethearts, so it is very difficult...but I knew they were in good hands with their daddy. Here are a few highlights from our trip...

First I had to say goodbye to these {CUTIES}. They loved the airport!

We enjoyed some drinks at our hotel before the broadway show 'Once!'.

Time Square!

Rockefeller Center!

Madison Square Gardens

New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street!

AWESOME meal at Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay's Restaurant)!
