Can we go to Deanna Roses? Puhhhhlease????

The boys finally got to take their field trip to Deanna Rose Farmstead. C's preschool trip was cancelled earlier this spring due to rain. I was scheduled to go with him and his favorite friend Martin, but the darn rain put a damper on that fun plan. In fact, Martin got sick and C's alterative field trip to Monkey Bizness ended in a tornado warning that we had to spend in a tornado shelter for about an hour. I surprised the boys last Friday with a rescheduled field trip. We were very lucky to have some surprise guests...our beloved Martin and his sister Alana. The George boys LOVE these kiddos! C wasn't sure of feeding the goats, but baby A had no problems getting up close and personal. There were totally spoiled by a trip to Chick Fil A afterward and more fun times in that playground.

Our Daddy!

We had a great father's day. We bought Daddy some awesome Panera bagels, made him some special caramel corn, and spoiled him rotten with steaks, crab stuffed mushrooms, cream cheese smothered french bread, fresh strawberries, and grilled veggies. We enjoyed it with his parents and a visit to the pool. Oh, we also bought him some special beers, but those were gone before we could get a picture...imagine that!

Cool Dude!

The big boys love their sunglasses, so we made sure to A some, too. He doesn't always keep them on, but look at this cutie!

Quite the character...

Mr. A is turning into quite the character. The other day I asked him to get into his car seat. He obliged me willingly, but with a twist. What a stinker. He has also gotten very into saying 'cookie'. At our house, you can't even go near a cookie without Mr. A begging. Here is what he looks like when he gets what he wants. How can I resist?

Little boys...

C isn't big into sharing, especially with his baby brother. In fact, I think most days he would be fine if baby brother would live in a tent outside, but today, I caught him doing something spectacular. Check it out!

It's COOKIE time!

Tomorrow is the last day of tball, so we made some extra special treats for the team to take home with them. The boys were lots of help making these cookies. They were almost a disaster, but some coaching from my friend Stasi, the professional, I managed to get some cookies that looked OK for delivery!

First Day of SUMMER!

The boys are very into seasons. They want to know when they start, when they end, what happens during them, etc. We have been on 'summer vacation' for awhile now, but now it is OFFICIALLY summer, so we had to celebrate. Off to the park for a little scavenger hunt nature walk we went. Here are some pretty cute pics of our wilderness adventure!

The Lasers biggest fan!

Bad mommy forgot about Mr. A--the team mascot. A loves the lasers. In fact, most games he is more willing to go out on the field than his middle brother. We keep him entertained with freezy pops, juice boxes, snacks, and everybody else's toys. His mean momma doesn't like him to play on the jungle gym because the big kids are less than friendly. In fact his mean momma yelled at a few kids the last game. They were throwing sticks at my baby. Not a fan.

Go Lasers!

I am pretty sure I have already made plenty of TBall posts, but here is one last one. Check out B and C in action, with coach Daddy! What a great Daddy for doing this with his boys. There have been some rough days, but Daddy continues on showing the boys how to play a sport that he loves!

Happy Bday Jakey!

Check out that cookie! For reals...these cookies were the size of baseballs. They had an oreo in the middle. I have become obsessed with other mommy blogs and I found this recipe, so I had a try it for the boys' hero, cousin Jacob's 14th bday. I think they were a hit! The boys adore Jakey and can't wait to visit him this summer. They think he lives in Alligator, Iowa. Too funny...

Guess what? We are taking a vacation...to IOWA!!!

I guess that's just how the George family rolls...vacation means Iowa to us. We planned a trip to St. Louis that we cancelled and another to Omaha that we were just to tired to plan. So when our family invited us to tropical Iowa, we decided to finally get out of the house! We loved our time with cousins and Gma and Gpa H. It was an awesome trip and actually a very relaxing one. We only had to be in the car for 3.5 hours, which is like a split second in our world! We swam, we ate, we relaxed, we fished, and we enjoyed the beautiful lake and weather!

Mommy, can you teach me how to pray?

My sweet baby C went to Vacation Bible School today. I have never been so proud. He has been having major social issues, so when he ran off with his crew today without looking back, I couldn't even believe it. Later today he asked me if I could teach him how to pray. Oh my goodness! Bless this boy. He said 'my teacher says I should pray every day, but I can't know how to'. I have never been so thrilled to teach Mr. Middle a very important lesson. Love this tenderheart!

Check out these STUDS!

The big boys are having a great time with their Daddy playing Tball. They are doing a really good job and not building sand castles in the dirt for the most part!
