Christmas Break Fun
The boys have had a blast on their Christmas break. We have been doing lots of crafts...finger painting, shrinky dinks, cutting and pasting, etc. We have also been doing lots of eating out and today after the dentist, we went to Chipwrecked. It was so cute and the boys had a blast! Today we are relaxing and watching the Cyclones. Unfortunately they are losing and C just puked, so the fun is going to be on hold for a bit!:-(

Dubuque Fun!
We had so much fun in Dubuque. It is always hard to leave. This year my wonderful parents arranged for us to see our childhood home. I dream about that place all of the time, so it was awesome to be able to see it. We also took a trip down memory lane and visited my elementary school and walked up the dreaded ramp with my brother, sister, and Dad. My siblings bullied me up it...somethings never change. Lots of fun memories and new ones were made, too. I took my favorite nieces and nephews to Starbucks when we got back home. That is always a treat for me! Kinda crazy that three of them could have acually driven me this year!

Bumper Bowling!
Daddy took the whole family bowling while we visited his family over Christmas. The boys had a blast...except for maybe A who kind of freaked out the whole time (except when he was busy counting his m & m's!).

Look what Santa brought!
It's so exciting. The boys were up bright and early--dying to see what Santa had left downstairs! They were delighted with two new Wii games, a Mickey Mouse toy, and Zhu Zhu pet pizza shop, a Chemistry set, and lots more. They had a blast with these silly straws!

C's program
C has finally gotten over his stage fright! He took the stage last week to sing in his Christmas program at Church. He did so well and we are very proud!

Dear Santa...
The boys have been so excited for Santa's arrival. They have written him letters and left a plate of goodies, too. They have also been searching like crazy for 'elfinator' each morning!

C just turned 5. It was a magical day for the birthday boy. He had a pirate party at a pool. The kids thought it was so cool to swim in the WINTER!. My awesome friend Stasi made the cutest pirate shirt for him and we had buried treasure cupcakes! They were so darn good! All the kids donned pirate eyes and searched for treasure chests under their plates. There were gold doublooms a plenty! C even got his name on the sign at his preschool! What a special day for a big boy!

Seussical!
Daddy got us half price tickets to Seussical at an adorable theatre in the boys' FAVORITE city! C first announced that he would NOT like it because he HATES signing. However, he quickly changed his tune when the show started. It was so cute and such a fun date with my boys!

The Littlest Tree
B had his Christmas program last Thursday. It was so stinkin' cute. He got to be a tree and had one little line. He said it perfectly and charmed it up for his mommy and daddy! Yep, I would say the Christmas season is upon us!

Santa Time!
The boys had their first crack at Santa Claus on Saturday. They enjoyed Christmasland in Daddy's hometown. It was so cute and the boys adored it. Each of them actually talked to Santa for the first time ever! We are getting very excited for a great holiday season!

Thankful Crafts
The boys and I have been busy craftying for turkey day. We have made thousands of turkeys. C even decorated our whole living room with his crafts! I LOVE it when he gets out the tape! We made pilgrim hats to eat at Grandma's. We made a 'thankful' tree to hang our most important things. I also made a fun bean hurricane and I just received this really sweet thankful plaque in the mail! So thankful for my boys and a few days off to hang out with them!

Mommy, do you know what happened at the first Thanksgiving?
The boys learned all about the first Thanksgiving at school this week and wondered if I knew the story. Too funny! They all enjoyed HUGE feasts at school. They are SO excited to head home to visit their families--which they are VERY thankful for!

And here are the pumpkins!
It wouldn't be Halloween without pumpkins! We had to stick with the old standby potato head pumpkins this year b/c we simply ran out of time, but the boys didn't seem to mind! B entered his school contest with this one. He didn't win, but he was very proud of his design!

Trick or Treat 2011
Here they are! All dressed up! The boys LOVED trick or treat night. They got loads of candy. Daddy gave them tips on how to attack the neighborhood. Daddy was also pretty excited about the 'adult' treats that were handed out by a few houses. My favorite line of the night was from C..."I am a scary Iron Man. I am going to scare all of the little girls that look like princesses and lady bugs". Too cute. Little A was so stinkin' cute in his lion costume. He kept saying 'treat' all night long. I loved watching his little buns waddle as he walked up to each house. It was also pretty cute watching him get a little scared by the spooky decorations.
